Meeko is as low-maintenance as they come, but she delivers plenty of joy. Perfectly house-trained, she’s a fan of her crate for solo naps but will gladly trade that for a warm spot under the covers with her people. Affection is kind of her thing—she wants every bit of love she can get, and nothing beats starting the day with her signature move: darting under the covers for a snuggle. If you have cats, Meeko is a dream. She’s lived happily with them, understands their signals, and knows when playtime is over. She has a mild luxating patella that her vet expects to improve as she leans out, and her allergies are being managed with a simple Zyrtec trial. Meeko’s energy is nicely balanced: she loves to play, excels at tug-of-war, and enjoys challenging you with her toys. Equally, she’s a grade A cuddler who loves being tucked in. Walks and a bit of yard time are enough to keep her content. She knows “sit” and “stay,” and greets new people with eager excitement (her manners are a work in progress but improving). Stressful situations, like meeting new dogs or hearing thunder, can unnerve her, but she bounces back quickly with some encouragement.
