About Peach
Peach is a sweet girl. Seeing her for the first time hurt. It hurt to know that she's suffered. She didn't get that skinny overnight; she had to know hunger for some time. Thankfully, she's now getting the food and care she needs. When I opened her kennel gate and asked if she wanted to go outside, she stood up to walk with me, but as soon as I opened the door to go outside, she froze. I carried her to the interaction pen, and with pets and kind words she started to feel more comfortable. She also started following me around. She's soft and sweet and wants to be loved. When it was time to go, Peach was feeling more confident and walked all the way back to her kennel. Seeing her so thin is startling but look beyond this temporary state and see that she's a beautiful girl inside and out. Since Peach is on a special diet and feeding schedule and can't be spayed until she gains more weight, she's only available to rescues at this time. I hope a rescue saves her. It's easy to fall in love with this sweet, gentle girl.
