About Tallulah Belle
Why choose me? Tallulah Belle is a senior beauty who's scared to be at the shelter. She let me leash and pet her, but as soon as we entered the interaction pen, the barking from the kennels startled her, and she spent much of her time running. I wondered if having a friendly canine neighbor might help her feel more at ease, so I put Brix in the pen next to Tallulah Belle. I played fetch with Brix, and she came to the fence to sit and watch. When I returned to Tallulah Belle, she was calmer but still not fully comfortable. I hope that will come with a little more time. Her former owner surrendered Tallulah Belle because she didn't get along with an older dog in the home. She also doesn't do well with cats. She's house trained and lived as an indoor dog. Hopefully, Tallulah Belle will settle in at the shelter and find a home that's the right match for her.
