About Summer
Summer is a four-year-old, black and white Blue Heeler mix with a few unique spots on her chest and paws. She was found at a park wearing a collar much too tight for her, but even after all that, she’s never lost her sunny spirit. Summer is kennel trained, potty trained, and does well walking on a leash. She’s been fostered with male dogs, puppies, and female dogs (so long as they aren’t large), and she fit right in. Summer does not get along with cats but is great around kids. She’s outgoing and genuinely enjoys meeting new people—her tail always wags when someone new comes around. When she’s not greeting visitors, Summer loves to relax in the sun and would settle into any home where chilling out is encouraged. She’d even be fine in an apartment.
