About Libby
Meet Libby, short for Liberty—a proud, resilient soul with a heart that shows no trace of her rough beginnings. At five years old, this large pit bull mix is gentle, loving, and especially shines around older children and dogs her size. Libby fits right in with a well-mannered, neutered male companion, and calmly coexists with farm animals, simply ignoring the chickens and passing goats with only a mild bark. She prefers cozy cuddles and soft words over wild adventures but will never say no to a walk or a ride in the car. Libby has been thriving under the care of her foster trainer. She’s house trained, crate trained, great on a leash, easy during bath time, and knows all her basic commands. Libby doesn’t need a marathoner—as long as you value snuggles and have a warm blanket close by, she’ll be your best friend. Plus, her adoption comes with continued training support to ensure a smooth transition home. Give Libby the second chance she’s ready for. Your new best friend is just one click away.
