About Stella & Decatur

Meet Stella and Decatur, two one-year-old cats who became best friends after winding up at the same rescue in Austin, TX. Decatur made the journey all the way from Roatán, Honduras, where life for cats is tough, but thanks to a group of animal lovers, he found safety here. Stella’s start wasn’t much easier; after her guardian passed, she ended up outside until a neighbor helped her get to safety. Now, these two are thick as thieves and will need to find a forever home together—they’re inseparable and thrive in each other's company. Stella is calm, unfazed by new faces, and always up for some pets, while Decatur adores attention, can’t get enough head scratches, and never misses a chance to curl up next to people. Both cats are playful, easygoing, and openly affectionate. While they didn’t have it easy at the start, they’ve got soft hearts and a constant desire for human touch. They also get along well with other cats. They are both spayed/neutered, microchipped, and eagerly awaiting a household ready to welcome two bundles of feline good energy. Ready to fall in love?
