About Rainy
Rainy is a spayed, medium-sized terrier mix who weighs about 50 pounds and turns two in December 2024. She’s bounced back from a rough start with boundless energy and a gentle, affectionate streak. Rainy thrives on play—she’ll wrestle with other dogs, run at top speed (water isn’t an obstacle), and jump into car rides and hikes whenever the chance arises. She’s got a fearless spirit, quick reflexes, and the kind of curiosity that keeps things interesting. Chew toys and treats are some of her favorite things, and she’s proven herself to be smart—her trainer at PetSmart even made a point of saying so after her basic training course. Rainy would do best in an active household where she gets a lot of engagement and exercise. She really needs a fenced yard and another playful canine buddy. She’s too energetic for young kids and should be in a cat-free home. She’s not aggressive, but her enthusiasm can be a lot for small children. Someone interested in further training or agility work would be a great match for her. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
