Anastasia, often called Ana or Ana Banana, is a young terrier mix with soulful brown eyes and a deep fondness for snuggles and kisses. She’s always up for a car ride, tail wagging the whole way. Life threw her a curveball—she was tied up and left behind when her family moved away—but she’s shown grit that’s hard not to admire. Now just over two years old, Ank has learned to trust again, especially with patient, loving people. Ana lives for fetch and chooses her canine friends carefully; she’s really only interested in playing with bigger dogs who keep up with her energy and size. For homes with other large pups, a meet and greet is a must. She doesn’t get along with cats or smaller dogs. She’d also do best with older, respectful children who understand her comfort zone. Ana isn’t fully house trained yet, but with time and structure, she’ll get there. She comes vaccinated and spayed, and to make things smoother, new adopters get a month of free training support to help Ana settle in.
