About Jackson
Start your journey together! Apply now. Jackson is a medium-sized staffy mix with a lovable, energetic personality. At about 1.6 years old, he is always up for a long walk, a run, or an exciting game of fetch. Jackson enjoys rough-and-tumble play with other dogs and is best partnered with a canine companion who matches his enthusiasm and energy. However, he is not suitable for homes with cats—Jackson’s dislike for cats is well-known, and for their safety, he must live in a feline-free environment. Jackson is fine with children, but his high energy means he’s much better suited for families with older kids (10 years and up) rather than toddlers. He’d thrive most in a country home with lots of space to run and a big, securely fenced yard to keep him safe—and protect neighboring cats and chickens. He’d also make a wonderful match for an active single or couple who appreciates a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to play and wrestle. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Jackson is ready to start his next adventure with the perfect family. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
