Raven is a young American Shorthair with a shiny black short coat. She was born on April 14, making her an Aries—no surprise she’s a natural explorer. At just over two years old, she’s a spayed female currently enjoying life in Morgantown, WV. She’s house trained, independent, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, having triumphed over earlier health concerns.

About Raven

Raven comes from the bird litter and stands out for her sharp mind and self-assurance. She’s quick to size up people and situations, and she doesn’t forget a bad experience—especially after dealing with eye drops for a tough eye ulcer as a kitten. Now healed, Raven still keeps a wary eye on humans if they approach her directly or try to scoop her up, but when things are calm, she’ll curl up for scritches or nap beside you in bed. Independent and playful, she was the first kitten to venture through her foster home and make friends after being brought in from outside. She’s always hunting for new adventures and embraces her house panther status with flair. As of her June update, Raven remains curious and smart, more at ease around carriers unless they’re involved with another cat’s vet trip—then she’s still a bit nervous. She absolutely loves her time on the catio, watching wildlife and enjoying the breeze. Meal times see her waiting patiently for her food, though she may throw in a meow of excitement. Raven is fixed, up-to-date on vaccines, combo and rabies vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and has tested negative for major feline illnesses. This clever, social cat would be a fun and loyal addition to the right household. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
