About Cecropia
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Cecropia, a stunning dilute tortoiseshell American Shorthair with a heart as big as her personality. Cecropia is a healthy young adult, estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old, who came in from the outdoors last summer. While much of her history is a mystery, it's known she gave birth to kittens soon after entering foster care and proved herself to be an outstanding and caring mom. Cecropia may begin her journey with you feeling a bit timid, as she tends to be nervous in new situations, but with patience sheโll quickly reveal her affectionate and friendly side. This chatty lady enjoys expressing herself with a delightful array of meows and chirps. Cecropia's favorite things include snuggling up on blankets, indulging in catnip, serenading you with her songs, and simply showing off her long, graceful form. She is best suited to a calm, predictable home environment. Sudden approaches and noise can send her into hiding, so she would do best in a household without small children or energetic pets. However, she has successfully lived with another similarly cautious cat, especially when introduced thoughtfully. Cecropia is spayed, up-to-date on combo and rabies vaccines, dewormed, flea-treated, and has tested negative for common feline diseases. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
