About Waldo
Waldo, also called Pikachu, is a 16-month-old terrier mix who’s ready for a fresh start. Weighing about 26 pounds, he’s outgrown his rough beginnings—he spent his early months outdoors without much human contact, but since rescue, Waldo has reshaped his world. From feral and wary to confident and upbeat, his journey has been nothing short of impressive. He thrives on activity and loves new experiences, especially hikes and trails. Waldo’s drive comes from food, play, and positive praise, so training is fun for him and easy for you. This dog excels with other dogs and gets along with cats, showing respect but always ready for a game. He’s part of the action and happiest with company—human or animal. Waldo learns new skills quickly, house and crate-trained almost overnight, walking well on a leash, and working on basics and off-leash recall. He’s full of energy but not hyperactive, simply busy and eager for the next adventure. An active home, where someone is around most of the time and enjoys the outdoors, is Waldo’s ideal fit. He loves car rides and is always up for discovering something new. Give Waldo a chance to keep growing up happy—he’s waiting for someone to help him write the next chapter.
