Stella is a young Akita with a sweet and loving personality. She came into rescue under tough circumstances, arriving at the shelter already pregnant despite still being a pup herself. With care and support, she’s been able to raise her puppies in a safe environment, and soon she’ll be ready to find a family of her own. Stella enjoys affection and bonds closely to her people, but she can be reactive to other dogs and isn’t suited to homes with cats. That protectiveness might fade as she moves past her mom duties, but for now, she’ll need a family comfortable with her needs and signals.
