About Shito
What are you waiting for? Apply today! This remarkable St. Bernard mix, Shito, truly defies all odds and expectations. Despite enduring his early years confined to a tiny, dirty cage and later chained in the desert heat, Shito’s innate desire to trust and be loved never faded. When rescue finally came, it took 10 determined days to bring Shito, his siblings, and other dogs to safety, marking the start of his transformation. Now, Shito is blossoming in foster care. His confidence, eagerness to please, and passion for affection are unmistakable. He absolutely adores being brushed, meets everyone with a wagging tail, and shares the sweetest kisses. This gentle giant is still mastering his manners due to his youthful energy, but he is a dream on a leash and quick to sit for treats. Shito is open-hearted and loves nearly every person he meets, but feels unsure around small children—so he’ll do best in a household with older kids. Due to his past experiences, Shito needs to be the only dog in the home, but he can safely be around dogs in separate spaces. He may have started life with hardship, but Shito is ready for a loving new chapter with you. Come meet this wonderful boy—your smile is waiting! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
