Meet Buddy, the dog who's ready to steal not just your heart, but your couch, too! 🛋️✨ This lovable 1-year-old gentle giant was surrendered to a shelter in NYC, simply because his previous owners said they couldn’t care for him anymore. 😢 But don’t worry, the universe had other plans! In his owner notes, it’s clear Buddy is a social butterfly who blossomed in the presence of children and other dogs. He adores car rides and, after being placed on the dreaded euthanasia list, our rescue team rallied to save him from becoming just another sad statistic. 🚫💔 Now, Buddy is living his best life in a loving foster home, and let me tell you, he’s a true gem! Not only is he gentle and affectionate, but he’s also quite the playful soul who lives for his toys and long walks. 🐶🌳 At first, he might come across as a bit shy, but once he feels safe in your presence, he transforms into the biggest love bug with those soulful eyes that could melt anyone! 😍💖 Buddy weighs 75 lbs of pure love! He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for his forever family. With a hint of Perro de Presa Canario in him, you can expect an extremely intelligent and loving companion by your side. 🦮✨ He’s looking for a person or family with an active lifestyle—someone who will take him on walks and adventures. Buddy loves to explore the world, and he’s ready to do it with YOU! 🌏❤️ Now, about those cats... Buddy hasn’t been tested with them just yet, but his previous owner notes he tries to avoid them. So, with a little patience, he might just become the purr-fect housemate for feline friends, too! 🐱❤️ If you’re feeling a connection with this beautiful boy, it’s time to make it official!
