X URGENT! ORANGE COUNTY, CA (S CAL)- ID #A1978788 at Orange County Animal Care in Tustin, CA- 'LEO' a HANDSOME, SWEET BUT SHY BOY LISTED AS A 7 yr MALE CHOW - RESCUE AND FOSTER NEEDED NOW! He has not been made available to adopt yet, but we can refer interested parties to a rescue group if needed. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE FOR DEAR LEO. He is listed as 7 year old, 57 lb chow. He came into the shelter as a stray (and no owner ever showed surprisingly). Due to being shy with new people, Leo is currently Rescue only and needs a foster offer to likely safe his life of he is suddenly out on a deadline again. The shelter told us 'The good news is that Leo is doing much better and will likely be placed up for public adoption. We do not have any videos yet, but keep on eye on this page https://petadoption.oc.gov/Adopt/#/list/DOG and when he becomes available, they will list him here and add a video.' However, when we checked back, he still has not been made available to adopt and is still being a tyupical chow, a bit wary of strangers. We are therefore also looking for a foster now in case he needs rescue which we are anticipating. If you are interested just to foster, or foster to adopt, or if you need further help, please contact robinmorgan@cox.net or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network asap as we are trying to find fosters we can then refer to a rescue group to help save him. He may also possibly be fostered through the shelter if you are local. If you are a rescue and interested in pulling this adorable chow, please email the shelter right away at (714) 796-6425. We will be posting additional information, pictures and video as we received such on Facebook If made adoptable, please contact the shelter immediately by calling (714) 935-6848 and reference his applicable ID, or go to the shelter website. We will be posting further updates, picture and video on Facebook as we receive such: https://www.facebook.com/debbie.alder.14/posts/pfbid036DGhwUyz9iAZ7HpLuFvMFd5s1v6XKkWwMGj7A9kf4VJufSv7AiqzSmJPVMcwM8uNl Note: to view contents of links you will need to copy and paste each one separately into your browser.
