Hi! My name is Melissa I am a 1.5 year old, spayed pit bull terrier. I am (soon to be) microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Goofy, sweetheart, playful Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: “A little reserved at fist but will climb onto your lap for attention”, “Such a little sweetheart!” Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10) 6 Housetraining Status: Working on it, needs training. I should do well in a home: I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. I have never met a cat before so my humans don’t know how I will be around them. I would do great in homes with children of all ages. My favorite activities are: I like playing with tennis balls and squeaky toys. I also love being with my humans, and will never say no to love and pets! Things I need work on are: Basic commands and some work on housetraining.
