I need a new home because I am an owner surrender. I am being fostered in St. Charles, Missouri. I need someone who loves to play with me because I am full of energy. I like walks and playing fetch. I understand the command “drop”. I also need someone who wants to cuddle with me and pet my belly. I want to sleep in bed with you too. I get along with everyone, even kids. I’m working on potty training and the treats are tasty. I don’t know how to tell you I have to go potty yet so I have accidents inside. My foster parents take me outside often and when they do I’ll go to the bathroom. I have one secret, you must stand outside with me or I’ll just stand at the door wanting back in. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption. MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
