I am 7 years old and weigh 19 pounds. I need a new home because I am a breeder release. I am being fostered in Des Moines, IA. I am a very sweet and gentle boy. I get along great with other dogs and would love a home with another confident dog to continue helping me learn as I have grown and learned so much from my two Boston Terrier foster sisters! I am learning all about comfy dog beds, toys and treats! I also like being in my crate and view it as my safe space, so sometimes you might need to encourage me to come be social. I had a very rough first 7 years of my life being kept in a cage, with little to no human interaction, affection or care. Since landing with my foster parents, things have only been looking up! My forever home needs to be patient and understanding that I am still learning how to dog and that I am timid and scared, but am starting to warm up to humans, slowly as I learn to trust them. I am very quiet although I get scared sometimes, As I get more comfortable, my silly side is starting to come out. I love it when my foster dad gets down on my level and plays with me. I can go up stairs, but haven’t figured out how to go down them yet. I am potty trained, but have marked a couple of times indoors, so I wear a belly band as a precaution and haven’t had any accidents or messes in it. I would love a calm home with little to no stairs to a fenced-in backyard. I love laying outside and soaking in the warm sun. If you’re looking for a quiet and sweet companion, I’m your guy! Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? Yes. Wear belly band to deter marking Leash-trained? Working on it. I’ve gone on walks, but am very slow and timid about it. Rides well in car? I was in rough shape when I came into rescue and had to have all of my teeth removed with the exception of my four canines. I feel so much better now and can eat kibble, but foster parents will put water in it and let it sit a bit for it to soften to make it easier for me. I also had a cancerous tumor removed from my leg. I am feeling so much better now!! Adoption Fee? $ 325 The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at ''https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.
