Temperament
Pomeranians are typically confident, curious and quick to sound the alarm, which suits a household that doesn't mind a watchful voice. Many bond closely with one person. Some get bossy with larger dogs or nippy when handled roughly. Patient, reward-based training and early socialization go a long way, and each dog's own history matters more than the breed label.
