Sitka is well socialized for an Akita! She lives with 10+ other dogs of all ages and sizes. She's been wonderful around all people so far -- though true to her breed she ignores new people until she wants to engage. She's indifferent upon initial meetings. She's been great around the kids she's met age's nine and up. She has exceptional manners, and is highly intuitive. Also characteristic of her breed, she is highly intelligent and deeply loyal to her human. She is low energy, but love’s to be outside and go on outdoor adventures! The perfect combination of quiet house dog and epic adventure partner. She is wonderful on or off leash. She currently lives with a cat, and has been great around horses. She’s also great in the vehicle and for the vet. She is all soul.
