About Oak

Meet Oak, a petite and striking girl who recently joined us alongside her buddy Maple. She arrived at just 28 pounds—severely underweight—but with regular meals and the TLC from our dedicated staff, she's gained weight and is looking much healthier. Oak is incredibly friendly and has the potential to be a wonderful lifelong companion. Her love for food is evident, and it's understandable given her past experiences. She enjoys her toys as well. While she's just starting her journey with training, she's eager to learn how to walk on a leash, take treats gently, and get a refresher on house-training. We don’t have information about her history with cats or children. Despite her past challenges, Oak has known what it's like to be loved and part of a family. We're dedicated to giving her a second chance. Please note, Oak isn't spayed yet, and potential adopters must reside in Stafford, King George, Spotsylvania, Prince William, Fauquier, Caroline, Culpeper, or the City of Fredericksburg. Her adoption fee is $45, and we work on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring along a picture ID and proof of your current address when you come to adopt her. Start your journey together!
