About Taco

Taco is a 4-year-old female Domestic Long Hair who is looking for a quiet and loving home. She is front declawed and requires an indoor-only environment, which is a standard for all cats from Reuben’s Room. With her smooth and beautiful long gray coat, regular brushing will help keep her looking her best. Taco is quite shy. She often hides when visitors are around and will need time to adapt to new surroundings. In her previous home, she would come out to sit on her human's lap in a calm atmosphere, and with patience, she will likely do the same in her new home. This sweet girl finds joy in simple things, like licking water from the faucet, so she might appreciate a pet water fountain. Though she's not very vocal, she has a playful side, enjoying small toy mice and observing birds from a sunny window. While Taco has lived with other cats and dogs, she may do best as the only pet in a home with only adults or older, quiet children. An understanding environment will help her thrive. Taco is fully litter-trained, but due to stress in her previous home, she had occasional accidents. With a stable, low-stress setting and some adjustments to her litter setup, we believe she can regain her excellent litter habits. Reach out to learn more about this beautiful girl today!
