About Smudge and Tilly

Meet Smudge, a charming, fluffy male cat who was left abandoned in a ditch alongside his sister, Tilly. Rescued with a soaked bag of food, they've faced challenges together but are now ready for new homes. After a year together, they've been separated for individual adoptions, showcasing their unique personalities. Smudge is gentle and sweet, boasting a long, soft coat. His adorable fur “floofs” on his feet add to his charm. He loves being petted and enjoys belly rubs. If you stop, he'll look at you with a captivating gaze, perhaps even follow you for more. When it comes to playtime, Smudge can't resist a good wand toy. With a slight size difference from Tilly, Smudge features a distinctive black “smudge” spot by his mouth. Both cats have hearty appetites and enjoy wet food treats, a great way to bond with them. Smudge is an excellent companion for singles, couples, or families with older, respectful children. His relaxed demeanor makes him an ideal role model for humans learning to unwind. Smudge gets along well with other friendly cats, making him a good fit for a multi-cat household. He is FIV+, but with regular vet care, he can live a fulfilling life just like any other cat. FIV is not contagious through shared food or litterboxes. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Smudge is ready to find his forever home. If you think Smudge could be the perfect addition to your family, act quickly and apply to adopt. He is located in Grand Rapids, MI.
