Haven is a young female mixed-breed dog, combining the best traits of American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador Retriever. She's medium-sized with a short coat and sports a striking white and cream coat with brown highlights. While Haven is not yet house trained, she is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Currently located in O'Fallon, MO, she is ready to find a loving home.

About Haven

Meet Haven! She's sweet, goofy, and full of heart. This girl is truly a dream dog, making friends and going on adventures while discovering that life is full of joy. Haven is a survivor and a hero in her own right. She's dedicated to becoming the best version of herself for the family who will love her forever. She flourishes with structure and routine, needing someone patient to guide her as she learns what's expected. Haven responds well to corrections and is making remarkable progress in her basic training. Right now, she's about 90% house trained and continues to work hard each day. While she can be cautious around some men initially, she’s shown that trust can be built—especially with some tasty treats involved! One area she's still working on is crate training. She does experience anxiety during crate time, so her future family will need to help her learn that being alone is safe and temporary. You don't need to be perfect to be Haven’s person. Just be ready to love her fiercely and faithfully, and she will return that love wholeheartedly. Adoption donation required. Click apply to start the adoption process.
