About Macy Gray

Meet Macy Gray, an 8-year-old Miniature Poodle weighing just 8 lbs. This spirited little lady defies her age, proving that great things come in small packages. She's energetic and has a love for playtime, whether that's having zoomies around the yard or happily fetching her favorite toys. Macy is a delightful companion who enjoys being close to her humans while happily engaging in play. She's great with young kids and has a wonderful disposition toward cats, too. She's had exposure to various animals without any issues. However, when it comes to other dogs, Macy prefers smaller, more neutral companions. She can be reactive toward larger dogs but is making excellent progress with her current foster on this front. An adopter who understands dog introductions would be a great match. This little angel is completely house-trained, crate-trained, and has no separation anxiety. Macy sleeps soundly in her crate at night but wouldn’t mind curling up in bed with you. On leash, she is still honing her manners and enjoys her walks. Note that she can be a bit of a puller but is non-reactive while on the leash. Currently on crate rest due to a previous injury, Macy will be ready for her new forever home in December. Macy thrives in an active setting, and anyone who can provide her with regular exercise and mental stimulation will make her very happy. A bit of Poodle experience would be a bonus, but it’s not a must. Regular grooming and continued training will help keep her life joyful!
