At just 17 pounds, Bo is a quiet little companion who enjoys peaceful days and a predictable routine. Bo came into rescue after his owner's health declined and they could no longer care for him. While the transition has been difficult for him, Bo is slowly learning that he's safe and cared for. He can be anxious in new situations and prefers to take things at his own pace, especially when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar environments. Bo is the kind of dog who enjoys having his own space and would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home where he can settle in comfortably. He absolutely loves spending time outside, happily lounging and soaking up the fresh air whenever he gets the chance. Some kennel aggression has been noted, which appears to stem from stress and insecurity, so Bo will need a patient adopter who understands his need for boundaries and gentle handling while he builds trust. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
