About Ivy

Ivy is an 8-9 month old feist and shepherd mix with a gentle spirit. This shy yet sweet girl spent most of her life in a shelter in Kentucky before joining Heartland a few weeks back. She has a healed break in her tail that doesn’t seem to bother her, displaying her resilience. Ivy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys the company of children. While she hasn’t been cat tested at the rescue, previous reports suggest she’s friendly with cats. Walking on a leash is new for her, and she’s still learning the ropes. When given a chance and kept on a routine, she manages to use the potty outside 95% of the time, although moving to a new home might lead to a few accidents as she settles in. All Ivy wants is some quality time and a warm bed to call her own. Click apply to start the adoption process.
