Holly is a sweet, independent dog best suited to an experienced owner who appreciates dogs with unique personalities. She loves belly rubs and savors quiet moments with her favorite person, but also needs her own space. Holly’s affection is genuine, but she thrives with someone who understands her need for boundaries and calm consistency. She has allergies and requires a specific diet and treats to keep her comfortable, but is highly food motivated and enjoys food puzzles and enrichment activities that work her mind. Holly would do best in an adult-only home without other pets. She is not comfortable on leash walks, possibly due to past experiences, so a securely fenced yard is a must for her outdoor time. If you can offer patience and a stable environment, she’ll give loyalty and companionship in return. For adopters who see past the challenges, Holly will make a rewarding companion. Fun fact—born April 29th, Holly is a Taurus, known for their loyalty and steady nature. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
