AvailableAndy Bernard is a male Labrador Retriever puppy with a small size. He is spayed and currently resides in Springfield, MA. About Andy Bernard
Andy Bernard is currently in foster care and looking for a loving home. This adorable young puppy is full of potential, but he has specific socialization needs that require a patient and committed adopter. When he feels secure, Andy is playful and goofy like any puppy, with impressive potty and crate skills. He gets along well with both dogs and cats and shows lovely manners with his foster siblings. However, Andy has had some negative experiences and can be fearful in new situations, especially around loud noises or certain other dogs. Successful adoption will mean taking a gentle approach and recognizing that Andy may need more time and positive reinforcement to learn new skills. We recommend experienced adopters who are ready to help him at his own pace and consider consulting with a qualified behaviorist. Andy would thrive best in a quieter home or rural setting, away from chaotic environments. He enjoys mental stimulation and bonding with his people, so providing him with games, puzzles, and training will be key to his development. While we think heβd do best without young children, a calm canine friend could be a wonderful companion for him. If you're ready to invest the time and love Andy deserves, please call to arrange a meet.
