Gumbo is a young male Labrador Retriever mix, about 1 year and 5 months old. He is small in size, features a lovely gray/blue/silver coat, and has been neutered and vaccinated. While he requires some time to warm up to new people, once he trusts you, he offers deep companionship. Located in East Hampton, NY, Gumbo is not yet house trained and is looking for a loving home without children.

About Gumbo

Gumbo is a sensitive, soulful pup waiting for someone to recognize his true charm. He first came to us in 2025 as a puppy from South Carolina but was returned in late March, through no fault of his own. He thrives in a quiet and loving home, ideally as your only companion, since he prefers to have space and his humans to himself. Initially shy and reserved, Gumbo transforms into a lovebug who shower you with kisses and tail wags as he warms up. He tends to feel more comfortable around women, and with time and patience, he’ll become your dedicated companion. Whether cuddling on the couch or taking long beach walks, he’s eager to share life’s moments. If you’re ready for a loyal friend who will give you his heart, Gumbo is waiting to be your best buddy for life.
