About Beatrice

Meet Beatrice, affectionately known as Bea. At 6 years old and weighing just 10 pounds, she's a pint-sized hero who was rescued from the euthanasia list with her puppies. After dedicating herself to raising them, it’s now Bea’s time to be loved and spoiled. Though she is completely blind, Bea navigates her surroundings with gentle curiosity and trust. She quickly warms up to patient introductions; a piece of beef jerky can win her heart. Once she feels secure, Bea transforms into a delightful lap dog who loves to be cradled like a baby. Bea walks beautifully on a leash, sticking closely by her human's side and following cues well. She thrives in a calm, patient home where she can build her confidence. Experience with visually impaired dogs is preferred. Bea is currently in Houston, TX, but out-of-state adoption is possible, with transport included in her adoption fee. If you have a cozy lap and a loving heart, Bea is ready to be your newest family member. Make room in your home for this extraordinary little survivor and apply today!
