He can be a little unsure of moving hands and may shy away when you reach toward him, but what's so special about Pugsley is that he is still so willing to come up to you and ask for love! It's honestly amazing how much he enjoys pets once he works up the courage to approach you. He may flinch or shy away at first, but he wants that affection, and it's clear there's a sweet boy in there just waiting to feel safe and comfortable. Pugsley deserves someone who will be patient with him, respect his boundaries, and let him build confidence at his own pace. He has so much potential, and with a little kindness and understanding, we think he's going to make a wonderful companion. He's the kind of dog who reminds you that even when the world feels a little scary, there's still room for love. He's also done well in playgroup with other dogs! We did notice that Pugsley seems to have a special connection with Wednesday. They arrived on different days, but they look so similar, and when they saw each other, they were both excited to meet again! We suspect they may be siblings, but while it was sweet to see their reaction to each other, they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. Both are looking for homes of their own. Pugsley may need a little extra patience while he learns that reaching hands aren't something to fear, but he already shows us how much he wants to trust and connect with people.
