MEET HUNTER! STATS: 1.5 years old, neutered, Staffy Mix, 37 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: My name is Hunter and I am the most lively, fun-loving, playful boy you’ll ever meet! I love to run and romp in the yard with my friends and get out some energy. I am super sweet and playful with people, too, and really enjoy the company of both dogs and humans. I have a lot of energy, so you better be ready to play ball! WHAT I LOVE: I love other dogs, playing fetch, squeaky toys, and spending time with people! I am a huge man of food and if you have treats, I will show off my skills at “sit” and a trick I am working on, “shake.” I am very social so having friends around is something I really enjoy, KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks I would do well with older kids/teens that understand my energy level. OTHER DOGS: I enjoy playing with other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter every day! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I want someone who will match my exuberance and zest for life! I am such a lover and I would be happiest with someone who is social and outgoing like me! I have a lot of energy, so I would do best either with an active family that will give me the exercise I love and crave, or in a home where I can run around outside and play before coming in to crash on the couch. SPECIAL NOTE: I have extremely expressive ears! Complete an online application and get pre-approved to adopt at https://cognitoforms.com/YorkCountyAnimalControl/PetAdoptionSurvey.
