Meet Twinkie: The Gentle Giant Who Almost Didn't Get His Chance Look at that face. That's Twinkie, a big, beautiful tan pit bull with a heart that's even bigger than he is. And friends, this boy's story will stay with you. Just weeks ago, Twinkie was out of time. The loud, frightening shelter was too much for him. He was scared, overwhelmed and misunderstood, and he was scheduled to be euthanized. Nobody could see the real him behind the stress. Then everything changed. Twinkie was rescued and placed in a loving foster home, and the dog who walked out of that shelter turned out to be pure gold. Today, Twinkie is one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. He's gentle and polite, with manners any parent would be proud of. He's a true gentleman wrapped in a whole lot of gorgeous, and his foster family can't stop gushing about him. All Twinkie ever needed was someone to give him a chance. Now he's ready for the most important chance of all: a family to call his own, forever.
