Gordon is an adorable puppy looking for a family who is ready for all the fun, love, and responsibility that comes with raising a puppy! While he's little now, don't let his puppy size fool you. Mom weighs approximately 65 pounds, and Dad is estimated to weigh around 170 pounds, so Henry is expected to grow into a very large dog! Raising a puppy takes time, patience, consistency, and commitment. Early training and socialization are absolutely essential. Gordon will need continued exposure to a variety of people, places, sounds, experiences, and other friendly, well-socialized dogs to help him grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult. Basic obedience training, leash manners, house training, and learning appropriate behaviors should all be part of his daily routine. Puppy training classes and ongoing positive reinforcement are strongly encouraged. Gordon is not suited for a home where he will be left alone for long stretches of time. He needs companionship, supervision, and interaction throughout the day and should not be left home alone for more than three hours at a time while he is young. And remember, the cute little puppy you bring home will eventually become a very large adult dog!
