About Fernie

Fernie is a quiet, mellow lady who has spent two months in a foster home, where her charm really shone through. She’s a true couch potato, always seeking affection and loving those cozy naps. House trained and great on car rides, she enjoys the little pleasures in life. Fernie is food motivated and understands basic commands like 'sit'. During her time with fosters, she was described as friendly and an excellent companion, often receiving belly rubs with joy. Community members adore her; she's a favorite for field trips. Fernie's temperament is easygoing and cuddly, making walks or playtime a delight. One volunteer noted her balance of independence and social nature, enjoying both exploration and snuggles. Fernie currently shares her kennel with another pup and has been friendly during playgroup interactions. She's eager to meet any resident dogs before heading home, and a home without young kiddos might suit her best. Don't miss out on the chance to meet this affectionate girl!
