About Ebony
Ebony has transformed significantly since her time at the shelter. Initially, she was overwhelmed, anxious, and full of energy, but she has now settled into a loving foster home and flourished into a confident, joyful companion. While she’s around 95% house-trained, she may still have the occasional accident during thunderstorms, when her nerves can resurface. Ebony enjoys a consistent feeding routine and is comfortable eating in her crate. This playful girl loves to chase tennis balls and has a keen interest in rabbits and lizards. Ebony is quite affectionate, often seeking closeness with her humans, whether lounging on the couch or following them around. She thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone can devote time to her. Although she enjoys her crate, prolonged confinement makes her anxious. Ebony is protective, with a surprising bark that serves as her alert system. While she may sound intimidating at the door, she calms down quickly when she knows there’s no danger. Positive reinforcement has been key to her training, making her eager to learn. Ebony does best without small dogs due to her history, but with patience and love, she is poised to be a loyal, fun-loving member of the family. This charming dog just wants to be included in family life. Click apply to start the adoption process.
