About Apollo
Apollo is a spry senior who spent eight years in his previous home. He's known as a sweet couch potato, often wanting to stay by his person's side. Crate and house trained, he recently enjoyed a two-week vacation away from the shelter where he showed off his charming personality. According to his foster, Apollo is friendly and fun-loving, enjoying walks and treats. While he doesn't have a strong affinity for toys, he loves to run outside occasionally. He's a smart boy who patiently waits when left alone, making him a calm houseguest. Although he may be a bit shy when meeting new people, he warms up quickly. Apollo is also a shelter favorite. Get him in a play yard with some treats, and you'll easily win his heart. He has an athletic build, and you'd never guess he was a senior! Initially an excited walker, he quickly settles into a nice, loose leash pace. He enjoys sniffing around and loves being petted. Apollo knows basic commands, like sit, and shares his kennel well with other dogs, displaying social behavior during playgroup. Heβd love to meet any resident pups before heading to his forever home. Donβt miss the chance to meet Apollo today!
