Bella is spayed and has been treated for some health issues, currently under care at Pima Animal Care Center. Annalise, also known as Bella, is a joyful companion who needs a little time to warm up to new faces. Initially shy and apprehensive, she blossoms into her true self once she feels secure in her new surroundings. Bella has a playful spirit, frequently rolling around in her dog bed and recently discovering the joy of stuffed toys. This senior lady does have a big appetite, so her meals should be regulated to keep her health in check. She enjoys leisurely strolls on a leash and loves car rides, although she struggles with stairs, likely due to some extra weight. Bella is house trained and occasionally uses a large pee pad. She knows basic commands and appreciates gentle petting and tummy rubs. While she prefers to be the sole focus of your affection, she is generally okay with other dogs, albeit a bit bossy if they invade her space. The ideal home for Bella would be with a retired person who can shower her with attention and love. She came to PACC after her previous owner was unable to care for her.
