Havok is a young, small mixed breed (Chihuahua/Pit Bull Terrier) male in Tucson, AZ. He has not yet been house trained but is already neutered and vaccinated, and he’s been raised with both dogs and cats.

About Havok

Havok got his super hero name for good reason—this little survivor lost his mom and siblings as a newborn but beat the odds with some round-the-clock bottle feeding from his foster. Happy and affectionate, Havok fits right in with both the dogs and the more sociable cats in his foster home, even making a kitten his very best friend. He’s a lively, loving pup who craves attention and connection from both people and other animals. Havok is scheduled to be available for adoption in person at the PetSmart in Oro Valley (10625 N. Oracle Road) from 12 to 4 PM on Sunday. His adoption fee covers his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, and de-worming, as well as a complimentary vet visit with participating vets. Please note: all adoptions are in person—no online holds or applications are accepted through Petfinder, and sending an inquiry does not reserve Havok. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?

Questions about Havok

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Havok’s combination of Chihuahua and Pit Bull Terrier heritage means he’ll adapt well to apartments or homes with yards, so long as he gets enough attention and activity. His small size and sociable nature make him especially versatile for a range of settings.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Being a small, energetic mix, Havok enjoys playtime outside but doesn’t require a large yard. Daily walks and play sessions indoors or out should keep him happy.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Both Chihuahuas and Pit Bull Terriers can do well with children if supervised and socialized early. Havok is loving and playful, which usually matches well with gentle kids, though supervision is best with young children.
