Allie is an adult female pit bull terrier mixed breed. She’s a large girl who’s been altered. While she’s mostly house trained, she is still learning the ropes. Currently located in Tucson, AZ, Allie is looking for her forever home where she can continue her recovery and bring joy to her new family.

About Allie

Allie is a resilient girl looking for a comfortable, loving home. Not long ago, she struggled to lift her head and walk due to the effects of untreated valley fever, but today she’s a happy, sweet companion who enjoys slow walks and time outdoors. In her foster home, Allie thrived. Her caretaker noted that she’s an enthusiastic and loving dog, now eager to please and receptive to training. She benefits from a more active person who can take her on shorter walks to help manage her excess energy. She’s mostly house trained, enjoys her crinkly duck toy, and is a generally quiet girl. One volunteer shared, "Allie greeted me with wiggles and wags. She is really sweet and was unbothered by other barking dogs. While she walked slowly and preferred sniffing over exercise, her friendly demeanor shined through." Allie shares her kennel well and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. However, she’ll likely thrive in a home without cats or young children. Don’t wait—ask to meet sweet Allie today!
