About Xena
Meet Xena, a sweet and gentle soul who's looking for a loving home. This affectionate lady, formerly known as Azucar, is a diabetic pit bull mix who requires twice daily insulin injections. Her ideal family will provide her with the extra care she needs, and in return, Xena will give them her whole heart. In her previous homes, Xena got along well with kids, small and large dogs, and even cats. She's house trained but needs to be let out more often due to her condition. Xena is described as calm, well-behaved, and incredibly loving. Sheβs still a bit shy and prefers to approach you at her own pace, but once she does, she fills your heart with warmth. Xena has shown remarkable adaptability in her foster home. She responds well to commands and is a quick learner. When itβs time for bed, she willingly goes into her crate on command. Xena is a happy pup who wags her tail enthusiastically when she sees you. Though she's independent, her desire to be near her people shines through. If you can provide the medical care she needs and shower her with love, Xena would make a fantastic companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
