About Rico
Rico is a kind and gentle dog who has thrived in foster care over the past two months. With his easygoing personality, he settles beautifully into a calm home, enjoying following his person around or taking long, cozy naps. A true couch potato at heart, Rico loves cuddles, belly rubs, and simply being close to his people. Fully house-trained, he communicates well when it's time to go outside and adapts quickly to routines. Rico is respectful when left alone, showing no signs of destructiveness or food aggression, and rarely barks, making him an exceptionally easy companion. He enjoys walks and gets excited when heading out, often bouncing in circles at the thought of adventure. He walks well on a leash, is non-reactive, and remains calm without pulling. While Rico hasn't had exposure to children, cats, or other dogs during his foster care, his affectionate and friendly temperament shines through. Rico loves treats like milk bones and has developed a fondness for tennis balls, showcasing his intelligence and eagerness to learn. At night, he sleeps peacefully beside his person, content just to be close. This sweet and loving companion would thrive in a calm home where he can enjoy walks, naps, and affectionate family time.
