Trout is a 1-year-old big, goofy puppy who hasn’t quite figured out just how big he is yet! But what he lacks in size awareness, he more than makes up for with his incredibly sweet and loving personality. Trout can be a little timid when meeting new dog friends and may need a bit of time to warm up. Once he feels comfortable, though, his playful side comes out and he loves to romp and have fun with his canine buddies. He’s done well with the dogs he’s met here at the shelter and seems to enjoy having friends once he gets to know them. With people, Trout is attentive, affectionate, and always happy to be close. And if you know and love a good “leaner,” Trout is your guy! He’ll happily lean his big ol’ body against you for some love and attention. This sweet boy is still a puppy at heart and is looking for someone who will appreciate his goofy antics, give him a little time to build confidence, and enjoy watching his fun-loving personality blossom.
