About Ringo

This could be the start of something paw-some. Since meeting his rescuer just in the nick of time, Ringo has been on an incredible journey of transformation. Once grossly overweight and struggling with arthritis, he is now much healthier and ready to join his new forever family. To keep him feeling his best, Ringo enjoys Hill's Metabolic & Mobility Diet and a common, affordable anti-inflammatory medication that has greatly improved his comfort. He’s also benefitted from therapeutic treatments and thrives with a mobility care plan that helps strengthen his legs and hips. Ringo is known for his loyal, house "hall monitor" personality—he enjoys keeping tabs on everyone and isn’t afraid to alert mom or dad about playful rule breakers! He does best with medium or large dogs that are either playful or calm, giving him a great mix of options for canine companions. Ringo adores children and would love to play ball at home, though his activity should remain moderate to prevent pain flare-ups. He is fully house trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands, with even more to offer as he continues to learn. Cats and small animals make Ringo anxious, so a home without them would be ideal. He’s doing wonderfully in his foster home, demonstrating how well he could fit into yours. Born on January 1, 2018, Ringo is a Capricorn—a sign known for steadfastness and loyalty, just like him! If you think he’s the perfect fit, his foster mom can provide all the insight you need to welcome him home. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
