Meet Simone – A Survivor with a Signature Waddle - Transport Available Nationwide When I was found, I was alone in the woods, starving and struggling to walk. Today, I’m a completely different girl. My name is Simone, and thanks to my foster mom, I’ve gained weight, strengthened my back end, and discovered just how much fun life can be. I’m a young French Bulldog, and I walk a little differently than most dogs. I was born with a back leg deformity from backyard breeding, and three vets have confirmed it’s genetic and permanent. It doesn’t stop me from walking, playing, or being a normal, happy pup. I take arthritis medicine to support my legs, and I’ll need to stay on it in my new home. If you have kids, that’s wonderful, because I love them. Bigger dogs are great company too. Cats and small animals are a no for me, since I have a prey drive. And if you want to see me light up, just bring out a toy. I’m still learning house and kennel training, and I’m giving it my all. What helps me most is a calm, peaceful household devoted to keeping me calm. I’m scared of being left outside, and if it happens, I’ll run until my back legs give out. I need a family who will keep me safe and close. Simone is fully vetted and ready to go.
