Meet Simone – Loved Just as She Is - Transport Available Nationwide Some dogs have a strut. I have a waddle, and I think it suits me perfectly. I’m Simone, a young French Bulldog girl who has been through a lot and come out sweeter for it. I was found in the woods, starving and barely able to walk. My foster mom took me in, helped me gain weight, and worked with me to strengthen my back end. Now I’m thriving, playing, and enjoying every day. I was born with a back leg deformity. I come from backyard breeding, and three vets agree it’s genetic and can’t be changed. It’s simply part of who I am. I can walk, play, and be a regular, happy dog. I take arthritis medicine to keep my legs supported, and that needs to continue in my new home. I’m great with kids and do well with bigger dogs. I’m not good with cats, and small animals aren’t a fit because of my prey drive. I’m still working on house and kennel training, and I’m proud of how hard I’m trying. Toys make me happier than just about anything. What I need most is a calm, peaceful home with people committed to keeping me calm. I’m scared of being left outside, and I’ll run until my back legs give out and collapse. With a gentle, patient family, I know I’ll feel right at home. Simone is fully vetted and ready to go.
