Looking for a low-key best friend with a heart of gold? Meet Deidre! This sweet senior is ready to spend her golden years soaking up love and enjoying the good life.

At 9 years old, Deidre has the perfect balance of calm, easygoing energy with just enough pep to keep things fun. She's perfectly content relaxing by your side for most of the day, but she still loves getting out for a walk-and she's an absolute dream on leash!

This affectionate girl greets her people with happy wiggles, loves attention, and takes treats ever so gently. She's housetrained, kennel trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and knows her basic commands, making her an easy and well-mannered companion. Deidre has been the perfect houseguest in foster and settles into home life beautifully.

Deidre also loves car rides, rolling around in the grass, and entertaining herself with a good chew toy. And while she's mostly a professional lounger, she still has some stellar (and short-lived!) zoomie sessions that are guaranteed to make you smile.

Deidre can be picky about her doggy friends and might do best as the only dog in her home. She's a true volunteer favorite thanks to her sweet nature, gentle personality, and easygoing ways.

Interested in meeting this special girl? Email foster@kcpetproject.org to learn more or set up a time to say hello!

Deidre is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever home. Come meet this golden girl and let her steal your heart! ...
