Hi there! My name is Cosmo, and I'm a 60-pound Shepherd Mix with a heart full of love and ENOUGH energy to keep the fun going all day long! I'm a very sweet, playful boy who believes life is better when there's a toy involved! I love squeaky toys, plushies for a good game of tug-of-war, and playing with balls. In fact, I'm pretty good at entertaining myself! I'll toss my own ball around and keep the game going, so I don't always need a human to make playtime happen. I also love jumping over obstacles when I'm playing, which makes me think I could be a fantastic candidate for agility courses or other fun activities that challenge both my body and my mind! If I'm having a blast and want you to join in, I might even bring a toy over and set it right in your lap. That's my way of saying, "Hey, bestie, we're not done playing yet!" I absolutely love being praised, so be sure to tell me what a good boy I am because those kind words make me feel extra special! Because I have so much energy and enthusiasm for life, I'm looking for an active family who can keep up with my playful personality and help me get all that energy out in positive ways. A home with a backyard would be ideal for me, giving me plenty of room to run, play, and show off my athletic side! I could potentially do well in an apartment, too, as long as my family leads an active lifestyle and makes sure I get plenty of exercise, outdoor adventures, and enrichment every day. Once I've had my fill of fun and finally run out of zoomies, my sweet side really shines. I love being around my people, and when I'm all tuckered out, I'm happy to settle down and lie beside you while we enjoy some well-earned relaxation together.
